Relation between Intimate Femicide and Stabbing Overkill

An intimate femicide case is presented. Autopsy findings showed a stabbed overkill pattern in the chest and neck. Due to the fact that this autopsy was performed within a teaching activity with Medicine students, we decided to carry out a literature review intended to answer how stabbing overkill relates with intimate femicide, which tries to deepen our understanding of this phenomenon and to reflect on potential opportunities for a new line of research on this topic.
